Man faces charges after shots fired in Scranton

SCRANTON, Pa. — A man faces charges after police say he opened fire in Scranton.

Police responded to the area of Davis Street and Colliery Avenue for reports of shots fired just after 6 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, officers say they found shell casings in the driveway of an apartment along Sycamore Lane.

Police believe 38-year-old Rashaad Ryans is responsible for the gunfire. No one was hit.

Ryans is locked up in Lackawanna County on reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and gun charges.
