SCRANTON, Pa. — A Scranton man now faces homicide charges after allegedly killing another man earlier this month.
Richard Hazelton was found dead inside of a home along Rock Street in the city last week.
William Auriemma is now charged with homicide, according to police. He was charged with aggravated assault in the case last week.
Auriemma told investigators Hazelton broke into his house, so he killed him.
Auriemma's girlfriend then told investigators that all three of them lived together.
Hazelton's death was later ruled a homicide. Officials say he was strangled.
