SCRANTON, Pa. — A man from Scranton is locked up on rape and sexual assault charges involving two girls.
Marquis Richardson, 34, is charged with rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, and related charges.
Officers with the Scranton Police Special Victim's Unit say one girl was assaulted in 2015 and 2016 by Richardson at a home in Scranton when the girl was approximately 6 or 7 years old.
Police say the second victim was 8, and the assaults happened in the past year, although the victim says the assaults began when she was 4.
