SCRANTON, Pa. — A man has been charged after allegedly firing a gunshot inside a grocery store in Lackawanna County.
Police responded to the Gerrity's Supermarket along South Main Avenue in Scranton's West side around 4:30 p.m. Sunday for a report of a gunshot fired in the rear of the store.
Investigators say surveillance video showed a man, later identified by police as Charles Reina, 52, firing a shot inside the store before fleeing.
No one was hit by the gunfire.
Reina was taken into custody shortly after and faces several charges, including reckless endangerment and discharging a weapon within city limits.
