Lottery ticket worth more than $878,000 sold in Lackawanna County

SCRANTON, Pa. — A lucky lottery player hit the jackpot with a ticket sold in Lackawanna County.

A winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket sold for the Monday, March 4 drawing matched all five balls drawn—1, 4, 17, 26, 35—to win $878,218.

Gerrity's Supermarket on Meadow Avenue in Scranton gets a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
