With slim swim options in the Scranton area, here are some options for staying cool

Here's a list of pool and beach options to help you stay cool this summer.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Temperatures are rising, but Scranton's swimming options are dwindling, leaving many to look for alternatives to beat the heat.

Novembrino Park's splash pad at 200 10th Ave. in Scranton's west side is open seven days per week, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Weston Park pool along Spring Street in the city's north end is open seven days per week, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Pool renovation projects at Connell Park and Weston Field are expected to be completed by 2025.

A splash pad at Capouse Park is also expected to open next year.  

Work on a brand-new water complex at Nay Aug Park in the city will continue into 2026.

Despite the limited options, there are some options to stay cool nearby. Check out the list below.
