SCRANTON, Pa. — A library in Scranton is closed as it undergoes renovations.
The work at Nancy Kay Holmes Library along Green Ridge Street and Wyoming Avenue will make the branch more accessible and energy efficient.
During construction, the library's programs will be held at other Scranton Public Library locations or community centers.
Library card holders are asked to transfer their requested materials for pick up at other Lackawanna County libraries during this time.
There is no word yet on how long the renovations will last; however, updates are expected to be posted on their Facebook page.
