Lextoberfest fundraiser returns in Scranton

The event in Scranton benefits the Lexi Caviston-Ashmar scholarship fund.

SCRANTON, Pa. — A benefit in Scranton honored the memory of a young woman who died from cancer.

Lextoberfest, a fundraiser at St. Paul of The Cross Parish Hall, was held in memory of Lexi Caviston-Ashmar, who died from brain cancer back in 2020.

Folks could get a pulled pork takeout dinner and enter to win a basket raffle.

All proceeds go to the Lexi Caviston-Ashmar Scholarship Fund.
