DUNMORE —A restaurant in Dunmore that was the focus of a national TV show is closing.
Newswatch 16 has learned that Anna Maria’s, off Drinker Street, is shutting its doors this week.
The owners say it’s because the family is dealing with some health issues.
Anna Maria’s was on the food network show “Restaurant Impossible” last year.
The reality show’s portrayal of the restaurant was not flattering and the owner ended up renovating the restaurant in Lackawanna County.
