SCRANTON, Pa. — The long-time celebrated tradition was underway in Lackawanna County on Friday.
La Festa Italiana kicked off Friday afternoon in downtown Scranton. The Electric City's Labor Day weekend tradition has been around for decades.
Organizers say it's more than good food. It's a celebration of Italian heritage and culture. Admission is free. The hours are Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Monday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
La Festa runs through Monday in downtown Scranton.
