WILKES-BARRE -- A judge has decided against a new trial for a former Lackawanna County commissioner.
Back in June, the new attorneys for Bob Cordaro went before a judge at the federal courthouse in Wilkes-Barre to request a new trial.
They claimed Cordaro's old lawyers did not do a good job representing him at his trial.
The judge denied that request Tuesday.
Cordaro was convicted on corruption charges in 2011 and is serving time at Fort Dix in New Jersey.
