Jewish Food Festival begins in Scranton

The annual food festival featuring stuffed cabbage, falafel, knishes, and more returned to Lackawanna County on Sunday.

SCRANTON, Pa. — A beloved food festival returned to part of Lackawanna County on Sunday.

The Jewish Discovery Center's Jewish Food Festival kicked off at Nay Aug Park in Scranton.

Stuffed cabbage, knishes, falafel, and funnel cakes are just a few of the many foods offered at the festival.

Proceeds from the festival go toward programs at the Jewish Discovery Center.

Admission is free. The festival runs from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Wednesday at Nay Aug Park.
