SCRANTON, Pa. — Earlier this month, the school board had voted to have elementary students return to a hybrid model in March, but many teachers are not on board with the plan.
More than 50 have told the district they'll be unable to fulfill their duties in-person due to health-related concerns.
That means there wouldn't be enough teachers to teach.
The Scranton School Board is expected to discuss the situation when they meet again on March 1.
