DICKSON CITY, Pa. — A fair in part of Lackawanna County celebrated all things historical.
Saturday marked the 3rd annual Local History Fair at the Viewmont Mall in Dickson City.
Organizers say the fair is a great way for people to connect with local history.
"It's a great way to uncover new things, meet new people. It's really exciting to see so many people here with so many different components to local history, different stories that we don't often focus on or don't often talk about," said Sarah Piccini, Lackawanna Historical Society.
More than 30 historical societies took part in the fair.
The Lackawanna Historical Society is also hosting a free storytellers panel at the Scranton Public Library on Sunday at 2 p.m.
