SCRANTON -- After months of speculation, Hillary Clinton is ready to make it official.
The Democrat, with ties to our area, is expected to formally announce her 2016 presidential bid this weekend.
The former First Lady has roots in northeastern Pennsylvania.
In 2007, she returned to Scranton for the baptism of her niece.
22 years ago, she lost her father, Hugh Rodham. He is buried in the Washburn Street Cemetery in Scranton’s west side.
