OLYPHANT, Pa. — A strong police presence has gathered in part of Lackawanna County.
Several police departments, including Olyphant, Blakely, Jessup, Dickson City, and state police, responded to part of the Casey Highway in Olyphant just after 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Newswatch 16 has a crew on the scene and saw officers searching near the Casey Highway with flashlights and spotted helicopters and drones overhead.
Police have not yet said what brought them to that area.
