SAVANNAH, Ga. — A minor was arrested in connection to the threats made to schools in Lackawanna County and throughout northeast Pennsylvania on Thursday.
The Scranton Police Department and the Savannah Police Department in Georgia conducted a joint investigation, which concluded in the arrest of a juvenile male whose identity and age have not been revealed.
The minor had posted numerous social media posts on multiple platforms threatening school violence. The threats were targeting schools in the NEPA area.
The minor is in custody in a juvenile detention center in Georgia.
