The former school aide in Lackawanna County will spend up to a year on house arrest for recording a student while using the bathroom.

LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A former school aide in Lackawanna County will spend up to a year on house arrest.

Last year, Cala Tolerico recorded a video of the student using the bathroom at Valley View High School in Archbald and shared it on social media.

Tolerico was charged at the Lackawanna County Criminal Justice Center. She told school officials she sent the video as a joke.

She pleaded guilty to harassment back in October.

She is no longer employed with the school district.
