Firefighters hurt battling Dunmore blaze

The home in Lackawanna County caught fire Wednesday evening.

DUNMORE, Pa. — Two firefighters were hurt battling a fire in Lackawanna County.

Flames broke out around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home on Tiffany Drive in Dunmore.

Officials said one woman who lived there was able to get out safely.

Two firefighters were treated and released from the hospital after being injured at the scene.

Crews were called back early Thursday after the fire rekindled.

A state police fire marshal said the fire started in the garage and is not considered suspicious.
