Fire rips through Scranton home

The building on South Irving Avenue caught fire around 1 p.m. Thursday.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Flames damaged a home in Scranton Thursday afternoon.

It started around 1 p.m. in the home in the 2100 block of South Irving Avenue.

Fire shot from the windows of the building when Newswatch 16 was there.

There is no word on injuries or the cause of the fire.
