SCRANTON, Pa. — Update:
Investigators say there's too much damage to determine what caused a fire in Scranton.
The home on Birch Street went up in flames around noon.
The place is made up of three apartments, everyone who lived there made it out okay, except for one pet snake.
While Scranton fire inspectors can't say for sure what sparked the fire they say it does not appear to be suspicious.

Fire heavily damaged a home in Scranton on Monday.
Those flames broke out around noon at an apartment house on Birch Street.
The home is divided into several apartments.
Everyone inside managed to get out safely and no one was hurt.
Investigators are still searching for the cause of that fire in south Scranton.
