BLAKELY, Pa. — A festival in Lackawanna County is all about a certain Polish delicacy, kielbasa.
On Saturday evening, people came out to support Blakely Hose Company #2 at its annual Kielbasa Smoke Fest.
There were raffle baskets, live music, specialty beers, and, of course, lots of kielbasa.
Firefighters say Smoke Fest helps raise money for lifesaving equipment.
"We're hurting for volunteers and stuff like that. So every little bit that we can get for new equipment, training equipment as well as gear for our members and also our new truck coming soon, it helps us out a lot," said firefighter Josh Littlejohn.
All the money raised will benefit the hose company in Lackawanna County.
