SCRANTON -- There was a sold out crowd for the fifth annual "Blue Ribbon Gala" for Marley's Mission.
Newswatch 16's Stacy Lange was the emcee for this year's celebration that was held at the Hilton in Scranton.
Awards were presented to those who have helped Marley's Mission throughout the year.
Organizers say how much it the community's support means to them.
"I'm so delighted that so many people come out to support Marley's Mission," said Donna Nasser, chair member. "It's just giving hope and healing to a lot of children."
Marley's Mission is a non-profit that provides therapy using horses to children and their families who have experienced trauma, often from abuse or neglect.
