Electric City Reptile Expo returns

Different kinds of exotic animals were on display on Sunday at the Electric City Reptile Expo.

SCRANTON, Pa. — All kinds of exotic animals were on display on Sunday at the Electric City Reptile Expo.

All ages were welcome at the event at the Hilton along Adams Avenue. The event is a place for reptile-loving people to connect and share a passion for these animals.

Organizers were glad to meet so many people interested in these cold-blooded creatures.

"Seeing the local community support us like this. It just really means the world to me. Especially because this community was here for me when I needed them, and to be able to kind of give some of that back or spread the joy of reptile keeping, as corny as it sounds, I couldn't express how much it means to me," said Matthew Helring, from the NEPA Reptile Expo.

This was the fourth year of the Electric City Reptile Expo.

General Admission is $10 cash at the door. All children under eight are free.

The expo is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
