Dunkin' coffee donation benefits veterans

For the 8th year, Dunkin' Donuts is partnering with the Valor Clinic Foundation to provide coffee donations for veterans this holiday season.

LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A Dunkin' Donuts in Lackawanna County is helping spread cheer to veterans by donating 1,000 pounds of coffee to the Valor Clinic Foundation.

Newswatch 16 stopped by Dunkin' along Davis Street in Scranton Monday morning for the presentation.

The coffee will be packed with about 575 meals for veterans as part of the organization's annual holiday meal distribution.

"It really helps. I was talking to a veteran on Saturday who is getting a holiday meal, and he said he really looks forward to the Dunkin' Donuts in it," said Bill Parkin, Valor Clinic Foundation volunteer.

This is the 8th year Dunkin' has donated coffee to Valor.
