State police at Dunmore have identified a 23-year-old Luzerne County motorcyclist killed Saturday in a crash in Spring Brook Township.
Ryan Ayers, of Kingston, collided with a pick-up truck on Springbrook Avenue just west of Kilmer Road around 2 p.m. on Saturday. Ayers had been navigating a right curve in the road when his motorcycle hit a pick-up heading in the opposite direction, state police said.
Ayers died at the scene of the crash. First responders unsuccessfully tried to resuscitate him.
The pick-up truck's driver, a 21-year-old man from Ashley, was unharmed, state police said.
