BLAKELY, Pa. — A couple from Lackawanna County wants you to check out their free Halloween attraction.
It's safe to say Robert Booth and Chrissie Conway's house in Peckville is the spookiest one on the block. In fact, they call it "The Halloween House of Peckville."
"I absolutely love Halloween and I want to share it with everyone I can," Booth said.
Three years ago the couple started transforming their home into a free Halloween walking tour.
"It's fun. We look forward to it. We've met a lot of great people through it and we just have a good time with it," Conway said.
The elaborate display is free for people to walk through as a way to make Halloween affordable for families.
"Too much money to take the whole family to some of the attractions. We love them and our kids love them but it's just not feasible especially with the economy today you really need to watch every little penny. So it's something we offer to people for free," Conway said.
"I try to make every section different. I want everyone to see the different things that I grew up with. The Beetlejuice section is coming back. Beetlejuice was just on. The Gremlins, Friday the 13th," Booth said.
The Halloween House of Peckville is on Keystone Avenue in the Peckville neighborhood of Blakely. It's open Thursdays through Sundays at 6:30 through Halloween.
