Death investigation in Olyphant

The Lackawanna County Coroner's Office confirmed to Newswatch 16 that the death is not considered suspicious.

OLYPHANT, Pa. — According to the Lackawanna County coroner's office, the death of a woman in Olyphant is not considered suspicious. 

Olyphant police and state police were called to a home on Jackson Street Wednesday evening and requested the coroner's office to respond. 

The coroner confirmed the body of a woman in her 50s was removed from the home.
