SCRANTON -- Some firefighters had a chance to practice different kinds of rescues Saturday in Scranton.
A car wedged under a school bus and a tanker turned over on a car were some of the staged wrecks.
Crews from five counties came to the Electric City to train at Boots and Hanks Towing on Keyser Avenue.
The firm often deals with removing large vehicles from accidents and the training gives them a chance to develop a working relationship with firefighters.
"We may pull up onto a scene, they may pull up onto a scene, never having worked together before, there would not be that familiarity, there would not be that continuity, and that's what we are hoping to achieve," said Anthony Osticco with Boots and Hanks.
Crews will train again on Sunday.
