LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Severe storms rolled through the area Monday evening, causing plenty of damage and leaving thousands without power.
Around 10 p.m., authorities in Lackawanna County say they were called to a home on Cranberry Avenue in Carbondale for an elderly man reportedly struck by lightning through a window.
There is no word yet on the man's condition.
