SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Crews responded after a car went into a body of water in Lackawanna County.
Officials say a car traveling along Winola Road went off the roadway, down an embankment, and into a body of water near Hillside Park.
One man was inside at the time and made it out of the car before it fully submerged.
He was taken to the hospital to be checked out for minor injuries.
Justus Dive Team also responded to help tow the car out of the water.
