MOOSIC, Pa. — A crash in Lackawanna County caused a lot of trouble on a busy road.
Calls came in around 2 a.m. Monday.
Police say a vehicle wrecked into a bridge on Birney Avenue in Moosic.
Police tell us the driver was taken to the hospital to get blood work. Officers suspect alcohol could have played a factor here.
Authorities called in UGI.
The car hit a gas line on the bridge.
Investigators say moving the vehicle will take some time.
Because of that, Birney Avenue is closed in both directions early Monday morning here in Lackawanna County.
