DICKSON CITY, Pa. — St. Adalbert's Polish National Catholic Church in Dickson City celebrated its 125th anniversary Sunday.
The church held a special mass with its prime bishop leading the service.
Members said the church has always been a welcoming place.
"The fellowship is wonderful,” said Dave Humphreys, St. Adalbert’s Polish National Church. “There are some people I haven't seen in a little bit. And certainly, the fellowship of Christianity is very important here in our church and our doors are always open to those who would like to come and see our beautiful church and experience basically the holiness of this place."
The congregation hopes to continue celebrating big milestones at the church in Lackawanna County.
