SCRANTON, Pa. — The Friends of the Poor and Family to Family Christmas food distribution got underway Tuesday morning in Scranton.
The drive-thru and walk-up food giveaway was held at the Scranton Cultural Center.
Volunteers filled 2,000 bags with ham, potatoes, fruit, bread, and other foods.
A few dozen volunteers helped with the giveaway, which was open while supplies lasted.
