TAYLOR, Pa. — Police in Lackawanna County arrested a woman on suspicion of driving under the influence following a head-on wreck Sunday morning in Taylor.
The crash happened just before 5 a.m. along the 1100 block of South Keyser Avenue.
Old Forge Police Chief Jason Dubernas, whose department handled the scene on before of Taylor police, said two people were hospitalized as a precaution.
A woman involved in the crash was arrested for suspicion of DUI and criminal charges are pending the result of a blood test.
Both cars were badly damaged. The wreck backed up traffic for nearly a half-mile in both directions for an hour.
