CARBONDALE, Pa. — Folks got out and did a little shopping to support their local library on Saturday in Lackawanna County.
The Carbondale Public Library hosted a marketplace at Memorial Park along Main Street.
There was a diverse line-up of vendors selling everything from crystals to wooden flower arrangements to purses, and of course, books.
Organizers say the idea for the marketplace was born out of wanting to help support small businesses as we come out of the pandemic.
