The FBI and Archbald police spent the day searching a home in the Abingtons and questioning the woman who lives there.
Around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Archbald police, Waverly police, and FBI agents left a home on East Grove Street in Clarks Green with a woman who lives there.
Police tell us that the FBI is in charge of this investigation. FBI agents would not confirm whether or not she is under arrest.
FBI agents and Archbald police spent a few hours searching the home, particularly an SUV parked in the driveway.
It's a Hyundai Vera Cruz that matches the description of a getaway vehicle used in as bank robbery in Eynon Tuesday, which is part of Archbald police’s jurisdiction.
Archbald police say a woman about five feet tall held up the P&G Federal Credit Union Tuesday morning.
The robber had a stun gun and got away with cash. She was caught on surveillance video driving away in a bluish Hyundai Vera Cruz.
The FBI will not confirm whether the woman is a suspect in that bank robbery, but Archbald police told us to expect more information soon.
