SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Sickler's Bike & Sport Shop in South Abington Township celebrated their 90th anniversary on Saturday.
There was live music, food, prizes, and cornhole and darts tournaments.
And since it is a bike shop, there were some bike giveaways as well.
"It's a milestone, it's a milestone, we got 10 more years till 100, we're taking it one year at a time," said David Kaplan, owner.
"Sickler's is kind of one of the big hubs in northeastern PA for cycling, it gets people out on bikes, which is healthier, it's great for the body, and it's great for mental health," said Zack Rundell, mountain biker/motivational speaker.
Both the owner and customers hope Sickler's will celebrate many more anniversaries in Lackawanna County.
