LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A benefit was held in Lackawanna County to help a 12-year-old boy with a heart condition and an autoimmune disorder.
The fundraiser at Holy Cross High School in Dunmore was packed with people. There were more than a hundred raffle baskets, games, food, and live music.
It was all to help 12-year-old Matthew and his family with health expenses.
Matthew's mother says they are grateful for all the support from the community.
"It feels amazing; we are so blessed; we are truly grateful for everything. I've cried too many times to cry anymore, but it's phenomenal; it really means so much to us," said Lynn Mursh.
Hundreds of people turned out for the fundraiser.
