LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A basketball game in Lackawanna County on Thursday night also served as a fundraiser for a boy who was hit by a car.
Police say a 12-year-old Riverside School District student was hit in the crosswalk on Main Street in Taylor on his way to school last Friday morning.
The boy was flown to a hospital.
Donations were collected at the Riverside basketball game to help offset the victim's medical bills.
