Arrest made in Scranton fire

SCRANTON, Pa. — Charges were filed in a December fire near Wyoming Avenue in Scranton.

Johnathan Melucci, of Springbrook Township, is charged with arson.

Police say Melucci placed an explosive device on the porch of a home on Wyoming Avenue.

Officials say the device was either a commercial grade or a homemade device.

Arrest papers show Melucci is also charged in a road rage case involving the owner of the home where the explosive device was found. 

Melucci faces charges including arson and retaliation against a witness/victim, according to officials.
