Apartment fire displaces four in Scranton

Flames broke out just after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday in the city.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Flames forced four people from an apartment building in Scranton on Saturday.

Fire officials say the flames broke out just after 1:30 p.m. along South Hyde Park Avenue.

When crews arrived, fire and smoke were coming from the apartment building.

Everyone was able to make it out safely.

So far, there is no word on what caused the fire in Scranton.
