LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — More roadwork in Dickson City will force drivers on another detour in Lackawanna County.
PennDOT says there is a detour scheduled on Interstate 81 northbound to Main Avenue in Dickson City for milling, filling and line painting.
The detour was put in place for Tuesday, July 9, from 8 pm-6 am, and will be as follows:
- Pass Exit 190 (Dickson City/Main Avenue) and head northbound toward Exit 191B (Scranton Expressway)
- Exit right onto 191B (Scranton Expressway) toward Scranton Carbondale Highway
- Stay in right lane on Scranton Carbondale Highway
- Exit right toward Interstate 81 southbound and Route 6 east.
- Follow Interstate 81 to exit 190 (Dickson City/Main Avenue) to gain access to Main Avenue
