Annual Halloween Pet Parade in Scranton

An annual Halloween tradition featuring man's best friend returned to part of Lackawanna County on Sunday.

SCRANTON, Pa. — It's not just people who get dressed up for Halloween; on Sunday, it was all about the animals in Lackawanna County.

Pawsitively for the Animals hosted its 6th annual 'Howl-O-Ween' Parade at McDade Park in Scranton.

Dogs, cats, a guinea pig, and even a tortoise dressed up for the occasion.

Judges, including Newswatch 16's Kerry Kearns, had a tough time deciding the best of the best because they were all so adorable!

"The creativity. We're always surprised every year we get blown away when we think that last year couldn't be top only to be proven wrong. They're great," said Kevin Young, Pawsitively for the Animals.

The best in show award went to a pup dressed as Pennywise and Georgie from the movie 'It,' in Lackawanna County.
