SCRANTON, Pa. — This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Novena in Scranton.
Thousands are expected to attend the ten-day event. This year, special additions include daily Spanish services, an archive room, a children’s mass, and an outdoor procession.
Volunteers arrived bright and early to finish setting up. The first mass is at 8 a.m. at the outdoor altar.
