UVALDE, Texas — An elementary student in Uvalde was caught at school with a BB gun in his backpack on Monday.
The Uvalde CISD Superintendent says the Uvalde Elementary @ Flores School third-grader was found with the weapon during bus pickup. It was fashioned to look like a BB gun and was not loaded.
The district says the boy pointed the weapon at another student.
The student will not be allowed to return to school while the district investigates.
