BERWICK -- Students served an early Thanksgiving for about 500 senior citizens in the Berwick area.
Elementary and high school students in the Berwick Area School District sponsored a free dinner Thursday night.
There was a traditional Thanksgiving meal including turkey, mashed potatoes and plenty of dessert.
One senior told Newswatch 16 what the best part of the night was.
"Free food! Lots of people. I see people I haven't seen for years and years," said Doyle Ridall of Berwick.
Culinary students from the high school prepared all of the food for the free dinner.
