BLOOMSBURG, Pa. — The search for a missing show dog is now over in Columbia County.
Celeste, a 4 1/2-year-old Chinese crested powderpuff, went missing from the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds during a weekend dog show.
Celeste's owner flooded Facebook with pictures of her dog, and the community stepped up to help.
"And she wouldn't have the natural supports that I would have if my dog would be missing. I'd have lots of people helping, so my heart just immediately reached out to her and wanted to do whatever I could," said Carrie Romig, Bloomsburg.
Celeste was found Tuesday afternoon in a grassy area of the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds.
Some of the methods used to bring Celeste home were setting a trap with rotisserie chicken and spraying chicken broth.
