BLOOMSBURG, Pa. — It's a sight you can only see once a year, a crowd of people lining up for tickets to Bloomsburg Fair.
For many, like Theresa Casterlane and her family, it's a tradition to stop by on Opening Day.
"We wait for this. We wait. This is the best part of fall for us." she said.
There's a little something for everyone at the 169th Bloomsburg Fair.
You can stop by the WNEP Free Stage and check out some live music, watch some harness racing, or take a ride in a hot air balloon.
The best part of the fair for many- the food! Like this freshly made popcorn.
"I look forward to the food" said Stacy Miller of Danville.
And another favorite at the fair is the goat snuggling station.
Amelia Miller of Mount Carmel agrees.
""All the animals because I love them"
The goats here at the snuggling station aren't just for cuddles, they are also available for adoption.
Mick Uranko says he's been coming to the Bloomsburg Fair since he was a child, now he carries on the tradition with his family.
"I live in Bloomsburg, but I'm originally from Pottsville and this has been a yearly tradition, and I wish to pass that on to my daughter. She's very shy, but she's having a great time to here at the fair."
Don't forget the rides. You can take it slow or try something a little more thrilling.
There's also plenty of games and of course, prizes.
The Bloomsburg Fair runs through September 28th.
