Bill's Custom Cycles for sale, along with huge parts inventory

After more than 50 years in business, a motorcycle shop in Columbia County is up for sale. Newswatch 16's Nikki Krize stopped by to see what it's all about.

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. — Walking around Bill's Custom Cycles, it's easy to see why this place is considered by many to have the world's largest inventory of Harley Davidson parts.

"People come from all over the world to buy from us just because we have the old stuff."

Bill Morris owns Bill's Custom Cycles on Route 11 just outside Bloomsburg. He has been in business for more than 50 years and recently put the shop on the market. He will be 85 soon, and his daughter helps him here.

"If I'm not here anymore, I sure wouldn't want this loaded onto her. So I'd like to see somebody take it, somebody young, a lot younger than me anyway, and keep it going."

Over the years, Morris has acquired a large inventory. He's bought the stock from nearly two dozen Harley Davidson dealerships over the years, along with around 50 custom shops.

"You have parts dating back to the 1930s. I've got parts from the teens and the 20s."

That includes many one-of-a-kind parts that could be worth millions.

"It is a steal, but in order to get somebody to really want to work, they have to get a really great deal," Morris said.

Morris also has a museum on the property, which he plans to continue running for as long as he can.
